Liquid Malt Extract is the freshest extract on the market.
Each
package is freshness dated. All syrups are sanitary packaged, nitrogen purged, and shipped directly to us here at
Perfect Brewing. No sitting around on ships, or in distributor
warehouses.Many brewing
shops sell very inexpensive bulk liquid extract, which they purchase
in large drums. Unless they use a nitrogen system to purge the drum
with inert gas (which most stores don't), they are likely to have
crusting and mold forming in the drum. Another
problem is that you have no idea how old the extract you are
purchasing is. That's why
we switched from bulk drums to fresh Northwestern extracts. They are
close to us and ship very fast. That means we can order smaller
quantities to keep our stock fresher. Almost every container of
Northwestern extract we sell is less that 1 month old.

Premium Unhopped Malt Extracts
LIGHT MALT EXTRACT - The grist always
comprises 100% malted barley. Stock #1320
AMBER MALT EXTRACT - A portion of
the grist is crystal malt, to produce a malt
extract with a medium reddish-amber color.
DARK MALT
EXTRACT - A portion of the grist is Black Patent Malt, in order to produce a malt extract
with a rich dark color.
WHEAT MALT
EXTRACT - The grist consists of 50% pale
malt and 50% wheat malt in order to create a wheat
malt extract with a light golden color.
